About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join the Franciscan Health Dyer/Munster Hospitalist Program. The established, growing program is a high-performing, well-respected group with a culture of teamwork. The physician will collaborate with colleagues to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care, build strong ties with the community, and develop lasting relationships with patients and their families.

The position serves Franciscan Health Munster Campus and the Dyer/Munster Hospitalist Program. The schedule is seven days on and seven days off, with 146 day shifts annually, 30 swing shifts annually, and six night shifts annually. Typical day-shift inpatient volume is 16–18 patients. The hospitalist responds to code blue and rapid response teams. The setting has limited ICU services; all ICU admissions require a Pulmonary/Critical Care consult. Strong subspecialty support is available.

The physician must be able to perform central lines and intubations or be willing to learn. ACLS and BLS are required. Travel is never or rarely required.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
