About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join a cohesive team and meet the growing demand of their Hospitalist Program in Franciscan Health at the Munster Campus. The program has a long history, starting over 24 years ago, and is known for its high performance, respect, and great teamwork culture. The ideal candidate will be an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician who wants to be part of this established program, displaying exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community. The physician will collaborate to deliver the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
• ACLS/BLS required.

Nice To Haves

• Willing to learn central lines and intubations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to code blue and rapid response teams.
• Perform procedures or be willing to learn central lines and intubations.
• Work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
