About The Position

The Prisma Health Physician provides quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group. The role involves diagnosing, preventing, and treating disease, defects, and injuries, and recommending or prescribing treatments for physical, mental, or functional ailments. Physicians provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, regardless of patients’ ability to pay or protected characteristics, and complete accurate, legible, and timely medical records using Current Procedural Terminology and International Classification of Diseases codes. The physician shares after-hours call coverage with other practice physicians unless otherwise agreed.
