About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join its growing Franciscan Health Dyer/Munster Hospitalist Program. The role is part of a cohesive, high-performing team with a strong culture of teamwork. The physician will work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care and build lasting relationships with patients, families, and the community.

The position serves an inpatient population in a limited ICU setting; all ICU admissions require a Pulmonary/Critical Care consult. The physician responds to code blue and rapid response teams and must be able to perform central lines and intubations or be willing to learn. The program offers strong subspecialty support.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Must be able to perform central lines and intubations or be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care collaboratively.
• Develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
• Respond to code blue and rapid response teams.
• Perform central lines and intubations, or be willing to learn these procedures.
• Provide inpatient care; typical daytime volume is 16–18 patients per day.
