About The Position

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) is recruiting a board-eligible or board-certified dermatologist to join its rapidly expanding outpatient Dermatology Clinic in the North Bay. The position focuses on general dermatology in a busy practice. The physician will work with dermatologists in the department and collaborate with more than 100 physicians in the group, many of whom perform skin biopsies and surgical procedures. There may be opportunities to expand cosmetic services for physicians who are interested. The department provides medical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetic services in-house and on-site. It supports UV and blue-light therapies and laser therapies using PDL, fractional CO2 laser, and IPL. The role uses an integrated EPIC electronic medical record. SMGR describes the position as offering flexibility for work-life balance.

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in dermatology.
Experience in a single- or multi-specialty group practice in an outpatient setting is ideal.
Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
