About The Position

Join a collaborative team of 12 cardiologists and 6 nurse practitioners, with robust support from Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams. The office is conveniently located near cardiac catheterization labs and the inpatient hospital, with EKG machines available in all clinic locations. This role offers an equal, rotating call schedule, encompassing outpatient, inpatient, and on-call duties. You will engage in rotations between the primary office and satellite clinics for outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds. Procedures include TAVR, high-risk PCI utilizing Impella or IABP, and Watchman implantations. The position offers a full spectrum of diagnostic studies.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
Indiana Medical License
Maintenance of BLS and ACLS
Active Indiana State License or IMLC
Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification should be achieved within 5 years post-residency)
ACLS is required for conscious sedation privileges
BLS is mandatory across all specialties
Electrocardiogram (EKG) - Mandatory
Echocardiography - Mandatory
Transesophageal Echo (TEE) - Mandatory
Nuclear Stress Test - Mandatory
Treadmill Stress Test - Mandatory
Holter/Event Monitors - Mandatory

Nice To Haves

Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization - Non-Mandatory
Open to newly trained fellows as well as practicing cardiologists
