About The Position

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiology Hospitalist to join our expanding Cardiology Division in Urbana, Illinois. This is a 100% inpatient position with a 7 on 7 off schedule, featuring 8-hour shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves shared call responsibility, approximately 10 days per month. You will join an established team of 2 Cardiology Hospitalists, with rounding support from an Advanced Practice Provider and a Cardiology Fellow. This opportunity allows you to become part of a growing team of 18 Cardiologists at the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute, which offers comprehensive cardiac medical and surgical services in subspecialties such as heart failure, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and complex cardiac and vascular surgery. Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department collaborate closely with Cardiologists in all patient care activities. Carle Cardiologists exclusively cover one hospital. There is a potential for an academic appointment at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused on the intersection of healthcare and engineering. The facility boasts a new state-of-the-art Heart Center, adjacent to Carle Foundation Hospital. Responsibilities

100% inpatient position

Work closely with Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department in all patient care activities
Cover only one hospital
