About The Position

Join a rapidly growing cardiology program at Nacogdoches Medical Center where you can play a meaningful role in expanding interventional cardiology services across East Texas. This established practice offers a strong cardiovascular foundation, dedicated procedural resources, and the opportunity to help shape future program growth. You will work alongside experienced cardiologists and advanced practice support while building procedural volume in a collaborative environment. The organization is committed to expanding advanced cardiovascular capabilities and investing in long-term success. This is an employed Interventional Cardiology opportunity with BHS Physician's Network, Inc. The role involves approximately 50% cath lab and 50% clinic/inpatient cardiology mix, with dedicated interventional and cath lab time and flexible clinic scheduling. There is a minimum call requirement of 7 days per month. The average clinic volume is 25 to 30 patients per day, with a typical procedural volume of 4 to 6 cases per dedicated procedural day with growth potential. You will join a team of two interventional cardiologists, one general cardiologist, and one nurse practitioner. Hospital privileges will be at Nacogdoches Medical Center Main Campus and South Campus. This position offers the opportunity to help expand advanced interventional cardiology services and procedural capabilities in the region.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
  • Residency training completed in the U.S.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology required
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license and satisfy hospital and payer credentialing requirements
  • Medical degree
  • Licensed physician. Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with coronary intervention, STEMI management, complex PCI, and development of interventional cardiology programs preferred
  • Board certified.
