About The Position

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a Level II Trauma Center. The technologist will work in a dynamic environment that includes operating rooms, radiology rooms, and CT suites. The role involves assisting Interventional Radiologists, a Neuro Interventionalist, Vascular Surgeons, and a PA/NP in performing a wide range of complex procedures. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and offers facility-paid parking. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a shift of 5x8 Days and requires on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

2 years of experience required.
BLS certification required.
ARRT R certification required.
WA License required.
Experience with Contrast.
Experience with Angiograms.
Experience with Nephrograms.
Experience with Venous Access.

Nice To Haves

First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience with C-Arm Biopsies.
Experience with Ablations.
Experience with Kyphoplasty.

Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists, Neuro Interventionalist, Vascular Surgeons, and PA/NP with procedures.
Perform procedures in 3 single plane IR rooms, 1 biplane, and 1 hybrid room.
Conduct procedures in a radiology room and CT.
Perform cerebral angiography including intervention.
Perform stroke intervention.
Perform angiography including intervention of all body parts except the heart.
Perform Y90 procedures.
Perform chemoembolization.
Perform cryoablation.
Perform venography including intervention.
Perform various biopsies using fluoro, CT, or ultrasound.
Perform venous access procedures (port, dialysis, central lines).
Perform gastrostomy procedures.
Perform various drain placements (biliary, nephrostomy, abscess).
