About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management in an outpatient setting. The PA will provide and manage direct patient care, work alongside physicians and other providers, and support continuity of care. The practice uses Allscripts EMR software and offers onsite ancillary services in modern, well-equipped facilities. Phone-only call coverage is approximately 1:28 days or better.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
Communicate with patients about testing results, follow-up care, and other relevant information.
Refer patients to specialists and other appropriate components of patient care.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Build relationships with patients and provide care with strong bedside manner and clinical skills.
