About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician Assistant to join its established independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in a busy outpatient practice and combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management services. The PA will work with physicians and other providers and provide direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The position also involves developing patient management plans, documenting progress, supporting continuity of care, communicating test results and follow-up information to patients, and referring patients to specialists or other appropriate care services. The practice uses Allscripts EMR, offers onsite ancillary services, and provides phone-only call coverage of 1:28 days or better. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
NCCPA certification.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Bilingual Spanish-language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
Communicate testing results, follow-up care, and additional information to patients.
Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care services as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
