About The Position
Under general supervision and with medical consultation and direction, the Physician Assistant performs physical and psychosocial assessments, establishes medical diagnoses, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, manages follow-up care, and performs other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and results, and providing preventive healthcare and counseling.
Requirements
- A college degree as a Physician Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school.
- Meet certifications and credentialing requirements applicable to the position, as specified in the Medical Staff Guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting focused on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
