About The Position
New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their Orthopedic Surgery team. This full-time position involves managing all aspects of care for patients on the orthopedic surgery team, including floor management of admitted patients, responding to orthopedic surgery consults in the ER, and first assisting in the OR. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant related studies
- NYS PA Licensure
- Current NCCPA Certification
- ACLS/BLS
- NYS Infection Control certification
- Current DEA and NYS Opioid Prescribing Training Certificate
Nice To Haves
- Experience in surgery or orthopedics preferred.
- Will consider new graduates.
