About The Position

Somerset Health Services Inc is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to help support UPMC Somerset Ear, Nose, and Throat. This is a new position being added to the practice to support the two long-term physicians in the group. The APP would hold a completely independent patient panel working in collaboration with the physicians. The onboarding would consist of direct training with the two physicians to gain the necessary skillset for managing otolaryngology and allergy clinic patients. The position would provide support to the physicians through seeing established patients in follow up, following the established treatment plan of the physicians, as well as seeing some new patients as a broader skillset and comfort level is gained. The facility is located in the Richland area in a large, newer renovated building. The practice has two physicians and is looking to add an APP to enhance services and increase patient access. The clinic also has its own allergy clinic. Both the general ENT and allergy clinic are very busy, with each seeing over 1,000 patient visits per month. See what being an Advanced Practice Provider can do for UPMC and what UPMC can do for Advanced Practice Providers – it’s more than just a job!
