About The Position

Corewell Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Ear Nose Throat practice at the Lake Drive Care Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The practice treats patients with ear, nose, and throat diagnoses who are referred or self-referred, from newborns through geriatric patients. ENT can be a busy practice, and team members work together to meet patient needs and provide excellent care.

As a member of the clinical support team, the Medical Assistant works closely with other healthcare professionals to support the delivery of patient care. The position is full-time, with a day shift and 40 scheduled hours per week. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on variable days; weekend frequency is listed as N/A.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• One of the following certifications required within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
