OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving communities in the Asheville, North Carolina area. The position is one day per week and involves providing mobile dermatology services to seniors living in retirement communities and nursing homes. The practice focuses on detecting and treating precancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin conditions. The role offers an established patient base and serves patients who might otherwise lack dedicated dermatology care. The position typically serves two to three geographically grouped communities per day and requires daily travel. A fully staffed back office supports appointments, insurance verification, and billing, and clinicians use a cloud-based dermatology-specific EMR. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
- Daily travel is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations, biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
- Travel to and provide services at communities in Asheville and surrounding areas, typically visiting two to three communities per day.
