OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes in the Rockford, Illinois area. The position is one day per week and involves daily travel to grouped communities, traditionally visiting two to three communities per day. The role offers an established patient base and focuses on providing medically oriented dermatology care to an underserved, vulnerable patient population. The organization provides a staffed back office to support appointments, insurance verification, and billing, along with a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations.
- Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication and curettage (ED&C).
- Travel daily to retirement communities and nursing homes in the Rockford, Illinois area.
