OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving Plymouth, Minnesota, and surrounding communities. The organization provides mobile dermatology services to seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes. The position offers an established patient base and focuses on diagnosing and treating patients who might otherwise lack dedicated dermatology care, including identifying untreated skin cancers in an underserved population. The clinician will typically visit two to three communities per day, with communities grouped by location. The role involves daily travel and is scheduled for one to two days per week. The practice offers autonomy, a staffed back office to support appointments, insurance verification, and billing, and a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin exams, biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
- Travel to and provide care at retirement communities and nursing homes in Plymouth and surrounding areas.
