OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving retirement communities and nursing homes in the Rockford, Illinois area. The organization provides mobile dermatology services to seniors, with a focus on detecting and treating pre-cancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin conditions. The position includes an established patient base and offers a medically oriented practice treating patients who might otherwise lack dedicated dermatology care. The role involves visiting approximately two to three communities per day, grouped by location, with daily travel. The position is one day per week. OnSite Dermatology offers a mobile practice model, more autonomy than a traditional practice setting, a staffed back office supporting appointments, insurance verification and billing, and a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.

Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations.
- Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
- Travel daily to retirement communities and nursing homes in the Rockford, Illinois area.
