OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time position serving communities in and around Tacoma, Washington. The organization provides mobile dermatology services to seniors living in retirement communities and nursing homes. This medically oriented role serves an established patient base and provides dermatology care to patients who might otherwise go without it, including identifying and treating skin cancers and other skin conditions. The position involves visiting approximately two to three communities per day, with communities grouped by location. Daily travel is required. The role is one day per week and offers competitive compensation. OnSite Dermatology describes its practice as a national, growing mobile dermatology organization with an established business model, greater autonomy than a traditional practice setting, a staffed back office to support appointments, insurance verification, and billing, and a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations.
- Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication and curettage (ED&C).
- Travel daily to serve approximately two to three communities per day.
