About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving communities in and around Newington, Connecticut. The organization provides mobile dermatology services to seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes, focusing on the detection and treatment of skin cancers and other dermatological conditions. The position offers an established patient base and serves patients who might otherwise lack access to dedicated dermatology care. The role involves visiting grouped communities, typically two to three per day, and requires daily travel. The practice provides back-office support for appointments, insurance verification, and billing, as well as a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.

- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations, biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
- Travel daily to serve communities in and around Newington, Connecticut, typically visiting two to three communities per day.
