OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is a national mobile dermatology organization serving seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes. The role provides medical dermatology care to an established patient base, including patients who might otherwise lack access to dedicated dermatology services. The position serves the Aurora, Illinois area and surrounding communities, typically visiting two to three geographically grouped communities per day. It is part-time, one day per week, and requires daily travel. A fully staffed back office supports appointments, insurance verification, and billing, and the practice uses a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record.
Requirements
- At least one year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations.
- Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C).
