OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time role serving Aurora, Illinois, and surrounding communities. The position is one day per week and serves seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes through a mobile dermatology practice. The role has an established patient base and focuses on providing dermatology care to patients who might otherwise lack access to it, including identifying and treating skin cancers and other skin conditions. The clinician typically visits two to three geographically grouped communities per day and travels between locations. The practice provides a staffed back office to support appointments, insurance verification, and billing, as well as a cloud-based dermatology-specific electronic medical record. The position offers autonomy compared with a traditional practice setting. Compensation is described as highly competitive.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of medical dermatology experience.
- Valid state Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.

- Geriatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments and diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Perform full-body skin examinations, biopsies, cryotherapy, and ED&C.
- Travel daily to serve retirement communities and nursing homes in Aurora, Illinois, and surrounding areas.
