About The Position
Join a growing General Surgery team in San Antonio, Texas, as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant supporting a high-volume surgical practice. The position combines inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on post-operative follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and continuity of care for surgical patients. New graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with surgical knowledge or experience are preferred. The role supports a busy General Surgery practice serving St. Luke's and Westover Hills locations. It has no operating room responsibilities and no call requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA program.
- PA licensure.
- DEA eligibility.
- Additional certifications as required by the governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient post-operative follow-up visits.
- Round on patients in the hospital.
- Support continuity of care for surgical patients.
- Provide clinical support to a high-volume General Surgery practice, serving St. Luke's and Westover Hills locations.
- Work per collaborative agreement.
