About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician in San Antonio, Texas, to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The practice offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7 a.m.–4 p.m., and part-time opportunities requiring at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week; the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted medical license in the state where the physician will practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
Possess an MD or DO.
