National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week; part-time physicians work at least 3 days per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians learn from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current clinical technologies and wound care modalities. The position is W-2 employment. No work visa sponsorship is available. Compensation is listed as $200,000–$350,000 per year; the posting also states that W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week.
