About The Position

Join a growing General Surgery team in San Antonio, Texas, as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant supporting a high-volume surgical practice. This position provides a blend of inpatient and outpatient care, focusing on post-operative follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and continuity of care for surgical patients. New graduates are welcome to apply, with preference given to candidates who have some surgical knowledge or experience. This role offers a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a mix of outpatient post-operative follow-up visits and inpatient hospital rounding. It serves as a primary support role for a busy General Surgery practice serving St. Luke's and Westover Hills locations. Importantly, there are no operating room responsibilities and no call requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited PA program
• PA licensure
• DEA eligible
• Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws
