About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time physicians commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. The schedule is described as Monday through Friday, with hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits; the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. A W2 employment contract is offered, and work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
