About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Bariatric Surgeon in San Antonio, Texas, to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., generally 4–5 days per week. Part-time opportunities are available for a minimum of 3 days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is unavailable. Requirements
