Bariatric Surgeon - Beeville, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Bariatric Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice, with facility visits within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time during rounds using the group's proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time schedules of four to five weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available with a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week.
