About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time schedules of 4–5 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday, or part-time opportunities with a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week. The stated full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available. W-2 physicians are stated to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The listed annual salary range is $200,000–$350,000.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week within the Monday-through-Friday working days.
