Bariatric Surgeon - Beeville, TX
About The Position
The physician provides bedside wound care in the post-acute care setting, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules. Full-time work is 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time work requires at least 3 weekdays per week. The stated weekday schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is a W-2 position, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
- Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
