This role is within the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, focusing on women's health. Responsibilities include the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health problems specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders. The role also involves treating and counseling women throughout pregnancy, including prenatal diagnoses and postpartum care, spanning the adult lifetime of a woman's care needs. Kelsey-Seybold OB/GYN APCs are women’s health specialists who provide complete obstetrical prenatal care, family planning, well-woman exams, vaccinations and screenings, treatment of menstrual disorders, gynecological problems, and menopause. The role includes performing in-office procedures within the APC's skill level related to gynecological conditions and contraception. The APC will work closely and in collaboration with a supervising OB/GYN physician in a shared practice model.
