About The Position

Symbria is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work with its Rehab Team at Evertrue Lutheran Home, a continuing care retirement community in Topton, Pennsylvania. The community provides short- and long-term rehabilitation, personal care, and independent living services. The role focuses on serving older adults in a collaborative and supportive therapy environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are available.

The Physical Therapy Assistant works closely with Physical Therapists to establish appropriate goals and carry out treatment plans creatively. As part of an interdisciplinary team, the assistant maintains productivity standards and completes required documentation while helping patients achieve important outcomes and serving as a trusted partner to the community.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license or have a pending license if a newer graduate.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience; this experience is not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply and may participate in a Professional Mentorship Program.
