About The Position

Symbria is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join its Rehab Team at Phoebe Homes in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The position serves older adults across Short/Long Term Rehab, Assisted/Independent Living, Outpatient, and Home Health on Campus. The role works closely with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve important outcomes through patient-centered care. New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are provided.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license or have a pending license as a newer graduate.
• Available to rotate on a scheduled every-third- or every-fourth-Saturday basis.
• CPR certification, or ability to obtain it before the hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience; this is not required.
• Interest in working with the geriatric population; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Physical Therapist to establish appropriate goals and execute treatment plans creatively.
• Maintain productivity standards.
