Full-time Physical Therapist
About The Position
Functional Pathways is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for Falcons Landing in Potomac Falls, Virginia. The therapist will work in a collaborative therapy team serving residents at a facility with rehabilitation services and an interdisciplinary care environment. Falcons Landing serves former members of the armed forces, U.S. government employees, and their spouses. The Physical Therapist screens and evaluates patients, conducts re-evaluations, plans for discharge, and revises established plans of care under physician supervision. Functional Pathways describes its care as holistic and patient-centered, with evidence-based programs addressing neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs. Therapists may receive training and certification in specialty programs through CORE4+ and Wellness offerings. Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with the ability to apply them to therapy disciplines.
- Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and re-evaluate patients.
