About The Position
A respected healthcare provider in Bowie, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join its rehabilitation team in a retirement community. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative, with tools and support for both new graduates and experienced therapists. This is a direct-hire, permanent-placement position scheduled Monday through Friday. The estimated compensation is approximately $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills.
Nice To Haves
- New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are welcome; no prior experience level is specified.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
