Part Time Nanny – Bowie, MD
About The Position
A family in Bowie, Maryland, is seeking an experienced and compassionate nanny for their 5-year-old and 9-year-old children. The position involves afternoon transportation and support with evening routines. The home is smoke-free and pet-free. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, approximately 12 hours per week. The start date is December 1, 2026. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour, with a gas stipend or reimbursement provided. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The caregiver is hired directly by the family and is not employed by Wellthy.
Requirements
- Prior nanny or childcare experience.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for transportation.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and an engaging presence.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities
- Plan meals, prepare food, and/or feed the children.
- Provide light housekeeping and/or do the children’s laundry.
- Transport the children to and from activities.
- Transport the children to and from school.
- Accompany the children to activities outside the home.
- Help the children with homework.
