About The Position

A part-time, live-out nanny is sought for a NoMad family with one infant daughter, born in March 2026. The role is expected to start in Fall 2026. Specific duties will be negotiated with the family. The nanny will provide nurturing care and engage with the child in loving, age-appropriate ways, with responsibilities covering child-related duties. The nanny should take initiative in planning intentional activities and supporting the child’s socialization through playdates, classes, and other child-friendly activities, while exploring what the city has to offer. The nanny will partner with the mother, who works from home and has a flexible work schedule. The family has a friendly Husky, but no pet-related duties are expected. The position guarantees 20–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with general hours expected between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The schedule may change over time based on the family’s needs. There are no set weekend, travel, or overnight duties, though flexibility for additional hours with advance notice is desired.
