Therapy/Rehabilitation - PT Home Health
About The Position
Provides physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting. The agency covers four counties, so the clinician must be willing to travel. Mileage is paid at the IRS standard rate and tracked through Home Care Home Base (HCHB) or Epic. The expected patient ratio/census is 1:5. HCHB experience is highly preferred. Clinicians without HCHB experience must complete an online HCHB course before starting; the course costs $250 and must be paid upfront by the traveler. The system is expected to transition to Epic around September 2026. Clinicians may float within the facility and scope of practice as needed. Weekend work is not required, but holiday work may be required depending on which major holidays fall during the assignment. Full compliance is required before starting; otherwise, the start may be delayed by two weeks because orientation occurs biweekly.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted, with 6 months subject to screening.
- BLS certification.
- Georgia PT license or an eligible compact PT license.
- Willingness to travel across the agency’s four-county coverage area.
- Complete an online HCHB course before starting if lacking HCHB experience; the $250 course fee is paid upfront by the traveler.
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements before the start date.
