New Grad Physical Therapist- Home Health Visits
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring new graduate Physical Therapists to provide one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in their homes in Montgomery County, Maryland. The position includes structured orientation, dedicated clinical support, and mentorship from experienced physical therapists to help new graduates transition from school to independent practice. Physical therapists help patients remain safe and independent at home through individualized evaluation and treatment, patient and caregiver education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining high standards of patient care.
