About The Position

BAYADA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy to school-age children during after-school hours in Delaware, with geographic coverage in New Castle County. This per diem role offers scheduling flexibility based on the therapist’s availability and the opportunity to build a consistent caseload. Compensation is up to $85 per visit.

The therapist provides individualized, child-centered care to help children improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional skills. The role includes developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with families and the child’s care team, documenting visits electronically, and communicating with the clinical team about progress and ongoing needs. BAYADA provides onboarding, clinical and office-team support, and professional development. Benefits and insurance are available as described, with some benefits subject to eligibility.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Active Delaware PT license.
• Passion for helping children reach their goals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while being supported by an experienced clinical team.
• Availability during after-school hours.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with school-age children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy services to school-age children during after-school hours.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's needs and goals.

• Partner with parents, caregivers, and other members of the child’s care team.
• Provide therapy in a supportive, child-centered environment.
