About The Position

BAYADA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy to school-age children during after-school hours in New Castle County, Delaware. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling based on the therapist’s availability, the option to choose a geographic coverage area, and the opportunity to build a consistent caseload. Compensation is up to $85 per visit, with weekly pay and travel stipend or mileage reimbursement.

The therapist will provide individualized, child-centered physical therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, and help children improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional skills. The role includes partnering with families and care-team members, completing electronic visit documentation, and communicating with the clinical team about each child’s progress and needs. BAYADA provides office-team support, paid orientation, onboarding, professional development, continuing education opportunities, and 24/7 clinical support.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Active Delaware Physical Therapist license.
• Passion for helping children reach their goals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while being supported by an experienced clinical team.
• Availability during after-school hours.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with school-age children is a plus.

Responsibilities
