About The Position

Phoenix Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a school-age pediatric client in Kansas City. The role focuses on supporting routines before and after school, providing consistency for the client and valuable support to their family. Training and support are provided.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 6 months of previous caregiving or direct support experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Support the client's morning routine before school.
• Help with after-school routines and activities.
• Provide direct support, supervision, and companionship.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Encourage positive engagement and independence.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive home environment.
