About The Position

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license in Florida in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Level 2 background screening.
• Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of physical therapy experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Kinnser / WellSky EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized patient plans of care and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Provide physical therapy visits and document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families to support independence and health.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and exchange updates.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, federal and state regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
