About The Position

Pop-A-Lock is hiring an experienced Senior Locksmith to provide mobile locksmith services in Brevard County, Florida. The role involves installing, maintaining, rebuilding, and repairing mechanical and electrical locking devices and door hardware. Senior Locksmiths address complex problems involving lockpicking, installation, repairs, and safe-cracking, and support junior locksmiths. The work is independent and varied, with travel to different locations and customer emergencies. Company-provided tools, equipment, inventory, uniforms, and training are available; a company vehicle and gas card are also available. Compensation is performance-based and includes commissions and tips.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working as a locksmith in automotive, residential, or commercial roles.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Currently reside in Brevard County, Florida, or be moving there shortly.
Able to work independently and confidently.
Motivated to succeed and able to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Above-average technical and mechanical skills and problem-solving ability.
Trustworthy and reliable, with strong customer communication and relationship skills.
Patient, with strong attention to detail.
Able to pass a background check appropriate to the nature of the job.
Able to work as part of a team with a variety of team members.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, rebuild, and repair mechanical and electrical locking devices and door hardware.
Resolve complex locksmith problems, including lockpicking, installation, repairs, and safe-cracking.
Support junior locksmiths.
Travel to customer locations to provide locksmith services.
