About The Position

This is a travel Physical Therapist position in an outpatient setting located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/15/2026. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional outcomes. The therapist will also educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Housing assistance is available for this position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact for Colorado
At least two years of PT experience
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Ability to work in a hospital-based outpatient setting
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of PT experience preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in outpatient PT, determine diagnoses, and develop and implement an evidence-based treatment plan.
Focus on improving strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional outcomes; adjust plans as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
Document patient progress and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
Ensure timely, compliant clinical documentation and contribution to ongoing patient care decisions.
