About The Position

This is a travel Physical Therapist - General position located in Willits, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The role is in a Critical Access Hospital setting and involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required.
• At least two years of recent Physical Therapy experience; three years preferred.
• Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting; EPIC experience a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques and modalities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and co-lead patient group activities as appropriate.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and communicate discharge plans.
• Supervise assigned assistants and support staff; participate in care coordination and patient education.
