About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapist specializing in general practice, located in Concord, New Hampshire. The role is temporary, lasting 15 weeks, and is situated within a hospital environment. The position requires an active PT license in NH or a Compact license, with support available for obtaining a temporary license if needed. The weekly pay ranges from $2,136.00 to $2,293.00, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week on an 8x5 Days shift.

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire or a Compact license (or willingness to obtain a temporary license).
Experience: Experienced Physical Therapist (as described in job notes).
Education: Degree from an accredited physical therapy program; eligibility for NH or Compact licensure.
Ability to work in a hospital setting with demonstrated clinical communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document findings in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and department standards.
Advocate for and participate in developing disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members; ensure appropriate coverage across the patient care area.
Verify and review all provider orders and integrate pertinent medical information including lab values and vital signs into clinical decision making.
Consider the impact of chronic illness on individuals and address age, physical, emotional, social, economic, cultural, and vocational factors in care planning.
Demonstrate clinical competence in administering formal standardized tests, scales, and tools; apply objective measures to guide treatment and progress.
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-focused treatment plans and goals; contribute to discharge planning as appropriate.
