About The Position

Island Therapy Center is seeking two Physical Therapists for an outpatient travel position. This role involves providing physical therapy services to an adult orthopedic caseload, with a primary focus on Self-Pay and Medicare patients. Therapists will manage their own patients from evaluation to discharge, ensuring a one-on-one approach with no patient hand-offs to assistants or other therapists. The clinic emphasizes intuitive documentation and offers flexible scheduling. This is a four to five-month position, ideal for a traveling therapist or a pair of therapists traveling together, with opportunities to work at either the Sanibel or Fort Myers location.

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapy License required.
• At least 2 years outpatient experience preferred.

• Preference for therapist with at least 2 years outpatient experience.
• Ideal for single travelling therapist, or two therapists traveling together.
• Additional opportunities for therapist with niche skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services for an adult orthopedic caseload.
• Conduct patient evaluations and treatments.
• Manage own patients from evaluation to discharge.
• Maintain a one-on-one patient care model.
• Utilize a straightforward documentation system.
• Set own hours and days within a 25-35 hours/week framework.
