About The Position

Aquacare and Fitness Forum Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist - CLINICAL DIRECTOR for their Easton, Maryland office. This is a leadership opportunity within a physical-therapist-owned private practice with over 27 years of experience and 12 clinics across Maryland and Delaware. The Clinic Director acts as the CEO of their clinic, responsible for the quality of care, patient experience, financial and operational health, and team engagement. While supported by a leadership and support team for billing, marketing, hiring, and operations, the director is expected to be proactive in problem-solving. The role allows for a balance between leadership duties and direct patient care, with a focus on building a strong team culture and developing clinical expertise.

Requirements

Full-time Physical Therapist
Leadership skills
Ability to build and manage a clinic
Experience with direct patient care
Proficiency in documentation using EMR systems (Prompt EMR mentioned)
Ability to work with a team of therapists, PTAs, and techs
General outpatient orthopedics experience
Experience with a mix of ages and diagnoses

Nice To Haves

Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification
Experience in specialty areas such as pelvic floor, women’s health, aquatics, sports, or manual therapy.

Responsibilities

Serve as the CEO of the clinic, responsible for its performance, quality of care, patient experience, financial and operational health, and team management.
Act as the chief culture officer, ensuring the team is engaged and supported.
Collaborate with the leadership and support team on billing, marketing, hiring, and operations.
Bring forward issues and help build solutions.
Treat patients with a caseload of fewer than 11 patients per day, focusing on one-on-one care.
Manage administrative tasks with approximately 30 minutes of scheduled non-treatment time built into each day.
Work alongside therapists, PTAs, and techs.
Develop a specialty in areas such as orthopedics, manual therapy, pain science, dry needling, pelvic floor, lymphedema, aquatic therapy, balance and vestibular, neurologic rehabilitation, dance rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.
